Yes. Consistent with our B-Corp ethic we have worked with Native Energy to calculate the carbon footprint of our scheduled service and purchase an equivalent amount of carbon to offset our impact. Taos Air may encounter delays related to weather or other reasons. In these instances, customers will be notified by Taos Air via email of any delay and updated every 15 minutes regarding status.
In the event your flight is diverted to another city, guests using Taos Transportation will be transported to/from that city to meet the flight. Those guests who rented cars from Mountain View Shuttle can drop off the car in Santa Fe but will be responsible for arranging transportation from Santa Fe. Those guests who arranged other transportation through Mountain View Shuttle are advised to contact Mountain View Shuttle for arrangements.

Food & BeveragesTaos Air will offer complimentary snack and beverage service during flights. Most products will be provided by fellow B Corporations. Please note that COVID-19 may impact our ability to provide this onboard during the flight.
Public charters are considered a semi-private flight experience – offering convenient, VIP service from crowd-free private terminals with contactless check-in. Public Charters are regulated by Department of Transportation regulations published in Title 14 CFR Part 380 and provide enhanced consumer protection by specifying minimum contract terms and imposing requirements for handling of passenger funds.
As part of our commitment to safety, Taos Air is working closely with our operator Advanced Air to safeguard the health of our guests, pilots and crew members. This policy will be a part of our multifaceted approach to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Taos Air affiliate organization Taos Ski Valley has been recognized as an industry-leader in COVID-safe operations, operating a complete ski season with a zero-positivity rate. That know-how and best-in-class operating philosophy will be extended to the Taos Air planning.
Lounges and Boarding Areas:
Face Coverings Face coverings are required for guests flying on Taos Air scheduled service. Exceptions can be made for young children or anyone with a condition that precludes wearing a face covering. If you are unknowingly infected with COVID-19, wearing a face covering inside an aircraft will limit the possible spread of disease.
Our Team Members Face coverings are required for all of our team members when interacting with guests.
Passenger Face Masks Face coverings are required for guests flying on Taos Air scheduled service. Protective Equipment Stock Extra protective masks are stocked at our customer service counters and kiosks. Free masks and hand sanitizers are provided for guest use.
Fog We use an industrial disinfectant and germicidal detergent inside the aircraft cabin at the end of each day. This industrial cleaner is EPA approved and known to kill the coronavirus.
Deep Clean between Flights After each landing our team disinfects all the high-touch points like seatbelt buckles, armrests, windows and seat controls.

Taos Air provides scheduled public charter air service by offering individual seats on a 30-seat Dornier 328 jet between Taos Regional Airport and from Dallas-Love Field (DAL), Austin International (AUS), Carlsbad-San Diego (CLD), and Hawthorne-Los Angeles (HHR) airports. Summer service will be available two days each week between July 1, 2021 through September 27, 2021. Winter service will be available three days each week between December 16, 2021 through April 4, 2022.

The air carrier that operates Taos Air flights is Advanced Air, LLC. As the direct air carrier, Advanced Air, LLC is responsible for all aspects of the flight services. Advanced Air, LLC is a respected and growing charter and FBO operator in the southwest United states and has become the turn-key air service provider for leaders in business, sport, and entertainment.
Advanced Air is recognized by the Department of Transportation as a Direct Air Carrier with Commuter Status. The company maintains an ARG/US Platinum safety rating. Director of Operations Mike Wootton of the Air Charter Safety Foundation Board of Governors and helps establish the Foundation’s strategic goals, policies, and programs. He directly contributes to the Air Charter Safety Foundation’s Vision to promote and enable the highest levels of safety in business aviation.
No. After you purchase your ticket online, guests will board flights at our facilities at the Austin, Dallas/Love Field, Carlsbad-San Diego, or Hawthorne-Los Angeles airports. These facilities do not have TSA Security Checkpoints. However, guests 18 years or older will be required to present a government-issued I.D. The only acceptable forms of identification are: an enhanced driver’s license, passport, state ID or a valid unexpired government-issued PHOTO ID. If you do not have a valid ID in your possession, you will be denied boarding.

Shuttle Service to Taos Ski Valley
Taos Ski Valley offers complimentary ground transfers between the Taos Regional Airport and the resort. The shuttle can be reserved during the booking process as an add-on during the “customize” step. If you did not add the shuttle to your itinerary during the check-out process, please call 833-359-8267 (FLY TAOS) in order to add it to your trip.
Shuttle Service to the Town of Taos
NCRTD provides a free ground shuttle between Taos Regional Airport and the Town of Taos. Call 866-206-0754 option #2 to make a reservation at least 24 hours in advance.
Mountain View Shuttle will provide shuttle service to destinations other than Taos Ski Valley. You can reach them at 575.770.8759.

Guests are allowed one carry-on bag plus one personal item, such as a purse, briefcase or laptop computer.
If a customer wants to travel on the same day as the missed flight and no Taos Air flights are available, the customer will be responsible for finding alternative transportation.
Each guest is permitted to check two pieces of baggage free of charge (up to 38 lbs in total weight), including snow sports equipment. One boot bag and one ski/snowboard bag are treated as one piece of baggage.
Any additional checked baggage will be subject to a fee of $50 for each additional piece. Guests may travel with bicycles for a fee of $50, however guests need to pre-reserve space when making their reservation. Space is limited to three bicycles per flight and subject to availability. If a guest arrives with a bicycle without a reservation, it may not be accommodated.
Taos Air flights are public charters sold and operated by Advanced Air, LLC as a direct air carrier. Flights are subject to Department of Transportation Public Charter Regulations. Please review these policies and the Participant Agreement below.
If a child is under the age of 2 years, they can fly as a lap child for free. A full-price ticket is required if a passenger desires an additional seat for the child, or the child to be locked in a car seat. If a child is 2 years or older, they must be in their own seat and pay full price.
The Full Flex fare is fully refundable until 24 hours after departure.
All other tickets are non-refundable. However, tickets may be changed free of charge and are valid for one year from the original purchase date. The guest is responsible for any difference in fare and forfeits any residual value if ticket change results in a lower fare Any residual value is forfeited once ticket(s) have been ticketed using flight credits and/or vouchers applied to new flight reservations. If unused beyond one year, the guest loses 100% of the value of the ticket.
Passengers who book with a third party (i.e. Expedia, Travelocity, etc.) must contact their third party for changes and/or refunds.
A child traveling without a parent and/or guardian between the ages of 7 and 15 must travel with completed unaccompanied minor paperwork.
The unaccompanied minor paperwork must be completed by the parent/guardian at the departure airport. The parent or responsible party is also required to remain present at the departure airport until the aircraft is airborne. Upon arriving, the parent or responsible party meeting the unaccompanied child at his or her destination must be present at the scheduled arrival time and must present valid identification that matches the Unaccompanied Minor Form prior to the child being released. The parent or responsible party must be at least 18 years of age or older.
Taos Air does not offer unaccompanied minor service connecting to or from other flights; be they on Taos Air or another Carrier. This service is only offered on direct, nonstop Taos Air flights.

Teenagers from age fifteen (15) to seventeen (17) may fly unaccompanied without ID or additional documentation. Passengers of this age will be treated as an adult and do not require the unaccompanied minor procedures.
