What is Taos Air Policy Regarding COVID-19?

As part of our commitment to safety, Taos Air is working closely with our operator Advanced Air to safeguard the health of our guests, pilots and crew members. This policy will be a part of our multifaceted approach to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Taos Air affiliate organization Taos Ski Valley has been recognized as an industry-leader in COVID-safe operations, operating a complete ski season with a zero-positivity rate. That know-how and best-in-class operating philosophy will be extended to the Taos Air planning.

Lounges and Boarding Areas:

Face Coverings
Face coverings are required for guests flying on Taos Air scheduled service. Exceptions can be made for young children or anyone with a condition that precludes wearing a face covering. If you are unknowingly infected with COVID-19, wearing a face covering inside an aircraft will limit the possible spread of disease.

Our Team Members
Face coverings are required for all of our team members when interacting with guests.

Onboard Aircraft:

Passenger Face Masks
Face coverings are required for guests flying on Taos Air scheduled service. Exceptions can be made for young children or anyone with a condition that precludes wearing a face covering. If you are unknowingly infected with COVID-19, wearing a face covering inside an aircraft will limit the possible spread of disease.

Protective Equipment Stock
Extra protective masks are stocked at our customer service counters and kiosks. Free masks and hand sanitizers are provided for guest use.

Fog
We use an industrial disinfectant and germicidal detergent inside the aircraft cabin at the end of each day. This industrial cleaner is EPA approved and known to kill the coronavirus.

Deep Clean between Flights
After each landing our team disinfects all the high-touch points like seatbelt buckles, armrests, windows and seat controls.
