We are excited to share that Taos Air has selected JSX Air to operate roundtrip flight service to Taos starting this Winter. This change will provide passengers with a reliable and seamless travel experience, getting you to and from the slopes or other destinations this winter, with more speed and the same customer-focused experience you are used to with Taos Air.

Taos Air’s convenient, hassle-free, and non-commercial travel experience will continue with flights operated by JSX Air with the use of 30-passenger jets, private terminals, and the ability to check in just 20 minutes before departure. On flights operated by JSX Air, passengers will enjoy a more spacious cabin, Starlink in-flight wifi (coming soon), and the ability to accrue miles/points towards United and JetBlue loyalty programs. Taos Air will continue to deliver on its promise to be the ‘Easiest Route to the Rockies’ and will offset 100% of the carbon impact on routes to and from Taos.

JSX Air will begin flying to/from Taos starting on December 15, 2022. Customers can visit JSX.com/Taos to book flights beginning November 10, 2022.

Your originally booked flight will be canceled and all funds collected and previously paid to Advanced Air (the prior air carrier that was to operate Taos Air marketed flights this Winter) will be refunded to affected customers.

All Winter passenger reservations have been held on a comparable JSX Air itinerary at the same fare. Passengers will receive information via email about the refund/rebooking process. Please check your email for communications from both Taos Air and JSX Air on how to confirm your new itinerary.  If you have questions about your flight operated by JSX Air, please contact JSX Air by calling (800) 435-9579.

All Winter passengers will automatically be refunded for their previous Taos Air reservations.  If the new itinerary that you receive from JSX Air does not work for you, please contact JSX Air at (800) 435-9579.  You will not be charged until you confirm your new itinerary with JSX Air over the phone.

Fortunately, the Taos Air and JSX Air service programs are very similar, with both prioritizing convenience and providing a simple and enjoyable experience.  Below are details on what’s staying the same, what is improved, and what differences passengers will encounter.

Service Differences

• JSX Air operates 30-passenger Embraer jets. The Dornier 328 jets previously used to provide service marketed as Taos Air will be retired from the program.
• While private terminals will still be used, some locations will change.  Service will operate from JSX Air private terminals starting on December 15, 2022 at:
  • Austin Bergstrom International Airport (AUS)
  • Dallas Love Field (DAL)
  • Burbank Airport (Los Angeles) (BUR)
  • San Diego International Airport (SAN)

We’re thrilled to have a new discount program for local Taos-area residents. Locals will get up to a 20% discount on most JSX Air flights originating in Taos through an exclusive promotional code found on https://www.jsx.com/taoslocals.  Locals should visit the page prior to each booking to ensure the most updated promo code for usage.

Taos Air will continue to offset 100% of the carbon impact on flights to/from Taos through its current relationship with NativeEnergy partners.
