What changes can passengers expect?

Fortunately, the Taos Air and JSX Air service programs are very similar, with both prioritizing convenience and providing a simple and enjoyable experience.  Below are details on what’s staying the same, what is improved, and what differences passengers will encounter.

Service Continuity

  • JSX Air operates spacious 30-passenger Embraer jets
    • Faster planes with quicker flight times
    • More spacious cabin
    • Complimentary Starlink high speed internet service onboard (coming soon)
  • Private terminals
    • Passengers can check in no less than 20 minutes prior to departure
    • Hassle-free, non-invasive, enhanced security procedures
  • Complimentary Services
    • Two checked bags (size and weight limits apply)
    • In-flight beverage and snack service
    • Ski rentals at Taos Ski Valley
    • Ground transportation to Taos Ski Valley
    • No change or cancellation fees through Winter 22/23 season
  • 100% carbon offset by Taos Air
  • Accrual toward United & JetBlue loyalty programs

Service Differences

  • JSX Air operates 30-passenger Embraer jets. The Dornier 328 jets previously used to provide service marketed as Taos Air will be retired from the program.
  • While private terminals will still be used, some locations will change.  Service will operate from JSX Air private terminals starting on December 15, 2022 at:
    • Austin Bergstrom International Airport (AUS)
    • Dallas Love Field (DAL)
    • Burbank Airport (Los Angeles) (BUR)
    • San Diego International Airport (SAN)
